UI/UX Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Engineer to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will combine creative design expertise with technical implementation skills to create exceptional user interfaces across mobile applications, web platforms, and emerging technologies including AR applications. This role involves designing efficient, scalable interface systems, working across disciplines (product, engineering, research), and deploying designs for real-world use cases.

In addition to technical excellence, candidates should be willing to represent Nutpaa in design forums, innovation competitions, and startup showcases to help build our brand and share our design culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for mobile applications, web platforms, and dashboard systems optimized for cross-platform deployment

• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard design tools and AI-powered workflows

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and hardware teams to build end-to-end user experience pipelines

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and integrate feedback with design systems for enhanced user satisfaction

• Develop responsive interfaces ensuring consistent experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms

• Design AR application interfaces with understanding of spatial computing and 3D interaction patterns (preferred)

• Participate in structured design reviews and validation processes

• Represent Nutpaa at select design showcases, demo events, or competitions as needed

Required Skills & Experience (Mid to Senior Level)

Core Design Competencies: User research methodologies, wireframing and prototyping, visual design principles, interaction design, information architecture, usability testing, and accessibility design standards.

Technical Proficiencies: Expert knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite; working understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flutter for cross-platform mobile development.

Mobile Application Design: 3-5 years experience designing iOS and Android applications with responsive design principles, cross-platform consistency, touch-friendly interfaces, and real-time data synchronization capabilities.

Dashboard & Data Visualization: 3+ years creating complex dashboards, data presentation systems, real-time monitoring interfaces, and multi-device data integration with actionable insights.

AI Tool Integration: Hands-on experience with AI-powered design tools including Figma AI features, generative design systems, automated prototyping workflows, and GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted productivity tools.

Professional Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience documenting design decisions and sharing reasoning in design reviews across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

AR/VR Interface Design: Experience with spatial UI design, 3D interaction patterns, Unity 3D or Unreal Engine, and understanding of computer vision integration for immersive experiences.

Design Systems & Operations: Experience with design system management, component libraries, version control for design assets, and CI/CD workflows for design deployment.

Cross-Platform Expertise: Familiarity with responsive web design, progressive web applications, and design considerations for embedded systems or IoT interfaces.

Public Representation: Experience in representing design work at conferences, startup competitions, or industry demo events is a plus.
